It is flanked by the majestic Saint-Maurice River, an important tourist attraction in its own right. Every spring, the hydroelectric dam is opened, releasing the impressive historic falls.
Guests can stay in the campground or at the inn and enjoy many outdoor activities such as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter, or visiting TreeGo, renting boats, and hiking in the forests in summer. There is also year-round entertainment.
