Parc national de la Mauricie Enjoy the outdoors

Presentation

COVID-19 : Visitors are asked to plan ahead by checking the website before they travel

Get back to nature at La Mauricie National Park, your base camp for all your outdoor adventures! Love the summer heat? Our hiking, canoeing, and waterfall combo is sure to seduce you. Prefer the snow? Grab your snowshoes or cross-country skis and enjoy our groomed and marked trails trails and heated shelters.

During the day, the park is beautiful; at night, it's magnificent! Some say that they've never seen so many stars. Watch constellations appear while gathered around a campfire or lying on a picnic table. Camping is the park's activity of choice. We have three campsites that can host tents, tent trailers, travel trailers, and motorhomes. Do you love falling asleep to the sound of water? A canoe-camping adventure might be for you. Halfway between a tent and a rustic cabin, Park Canada's oTENTik unit offers the perfect balance of home comforts and expansive wilderness. Our oTENTik units are available year-round! For large groups, Domaine Wabenaki-Andrew is a comfortable and welcoming space, also available in both summer and winter.

In term of discovery activities, the Aqua Trek is a self-guided canoe or kayak ride, ideal for exploring Wapizagonke Lake. A refreshing activity on calm waters, filled with enriching discoveries!

During your stay, you can also check out our free activities with naturalists. They're not to be missed, and our team offers outings all summer and fall. You're sure to make the most amazing discoveries with them! Check our schedules and meet the park's wild residents.

2020 marked the 50th anniversary of La Mauricie National Park. Half a century of conservation, experiences and memories. Visit the website to learn more: parkscanada.gc.ca/mauricie50
