Located downtown Shawinigan, near Tapiskwan Sipi (St-Maurice River in Atikamekw language) in the extension of the Promenade and Saint-Maurice Park, the Onikam Cultural Center is a must stop to discover and better understanding of Indigenous cultures, particularly the Atikamekw Nation, which has an ancestral history in the Mauricie region.

Through a visual art exhibit, a documentation space, a children's play area and a program of varied activities, the Onikam Cultural Space spreads the traditional and contemporary cultures of the First Nations.

The place is intended to be a space for meeting, creation, sharing and reflection. All activities are free and open to the public. Parking is available in front of Onikam.

Welcome! Miro pecawk!
