Located in a former textile factory, Le Trou du Diable microbrewery houses its factory, a boutique, and the Wabasso lounge!
Trou du diable’s boutique The boutique offers products from local artisans, a selection of special beers, kitchen products, clothing and other by-products from Trou du Diable. Several sizes are available: regular beers in 600ml, special brews in 750ml as well as “Grogneurs” (jugs of beers brewed more sporadically). Clothing, posters, bottle openers and several other products in the image of Le Trou du diable or bearing their beer’s logos are available in store. Local artisans are also honored with gourmet beer-based products as well as various products from ABAKA and Pwark, just to name a few.
Brewery tour In order to quench your thirst for brewing knowledge, Le Trou du diable offers guided tours of the brewery. The visit will allow you to see the facilities and one of the largest beer cellars in Canada. You’ll have the chance to familiarize yourself with the processes of brewing and bottling beer. At the end of the visit, you’ll get to taste beers brewed on site and you’ll be able to stock up on them at the shop if you wish. You can also simply go to the lounge to taste different beers.
Salon WabassoThe Salon Wabasso can pride itself on being a real crossroads where shows, tastings, culture, events and multimedia coexist. We love the breathtaking view of the fermentation tanks and the bottling line. Its industrial light fixtures, brick walls, large windows and woodwork add to the charm of this room, which can accommodate from 2 to 185 people. The Salon Wabasso is the host of various cultural events and intimate shows that take place in a cozy or boosted atmosphere. Spectators benefit from a bar service offering a variety of beers brewed on site as well as several non-alcoholic beverages.
