My first crush is of course the paradise of all fishermen and fisherwomen… When I walk into this store, I feel at home. This store, specialized in fishing and hunting, is by far my favorite store. The staff is always welcoming and smiling. They offer quality products with all the advices, tips and techniques needed for outdoor activities. There is no price for this service so close to home.

What about the majestic Saint-Maurice River!!!!! What a body of water to discover! Whether you are a canoe, boat, seadoo, water ski, swim or sail lover, or, and of course, a FISHING lover, you’ll find the panorama on this river is breathtaking. Fishes have a great playground just like me who teases them to find out where there’re going to be today. I discovered several places, thanks to my great friend Dominic.

My third favorite is undoubtedly a must. You can always find quality products. This is THE place for a good meat for a dinner with friends or family and for the best BBQ. The staff is always courteous and welcoming.

A thumbs up for Tourisme Shawi! And yes, because in Shawi you can find everything. I went into business as a fishing guide. I was approached by them, and they made me realize that SHAWI is more alive than ever…. Rivers and lakes, snowmobile trails, Sépaq reserves, zecs, La Mauricie National Park: we have it all, near the house. I even found love in Shawi!
