Libertango

Libertango is a show dedicated to the major vocal works of Astor Piazzolla. Virtuoso of the bandoneon, Astor Piazzolla is the composer of an immense work which has completely redefined the tango in order to detach itself from the dance and to make it a musical genre in its own right. The original arrangements for voice, cello and piano made by Dominic Boulianne, reflect all the passion and virtuosity present in the music of this genius of tango nuevo. This rewriting lies in the desire to create a powerful show highlighting the great virtuosity of its performers, thus giving a performance rich in emotions. Opus D2 is the inevitable meeting of two distinguished musicians, Dominic Boulianne and Dominic Painchaud. In this concert, the talented soprano Caroline Bleau joins her lyrical singing to their instruments in a complicit speech to tell the world of tango.
