Parc Saint-Maurice and Promenade du Saint-Maurice

Firstly, because it’s magnificent, calm and soothing, the promenade and the park are essentials. The places are also full of history. And what a great place for running and walking. There is also a playground and a tennis court.

Librairie Poirier

This bookstore is beautiful with its window on the main street right downtown! There’s a large selection of books (big wow for the youth section) and great service. A must stop in vacation mode.

This superb bakery on the main street in the Grand-Mère sector has a good selection of homemade products. Everything is good, fresh and made with care. The owners are also really friendly!

Vallée Rocanigan

Summer or winter, the valley is an extraordinary place for nature lovers. The trails are well laid out, the place is calm and majestic and the mountain offers varied challenges for hikers. Without ignoring the children’s spots!

Obviously, this is the biggest playground in the region. The trails are more accessible in the summer for young children. The landscapes and the beaches are magical.
