- A park, which extends over 160 hectares, a real oasis in the heart of the city of Shawinigan! Along the Saint-Maurice River, it’s home to two islands (Melville Island and Banana Island), a 70-meter-high mountain and a large wooded forest. A perfect place to practice outdoor activities and enjoy all the amenities of the city (restaurants, bars, shops, shows) in less than 5 minutes by car.
- Among the summer activities, you can walk in the trees with Arbraska, rent a watercraft (kayak, canoe, paddle board, rabaska, motorboat and pontoon), enjoy the marina, go mountain biking (12 km) or enjoy a bike ride on the green route.
- The park also has 15 km of hiking trails. When the waters rise in SPRING, you’ll have the chance to see the famous Shawinigan Falls in all their intensity. With a height of 50 meters, they are barely 7 meters lower than the Niagara Falls!
- As for accommodation, you will be spoiled for choice: camping, yurts, ready-to-camp or rooms at the inn. The park also offers reception, meeting or conference rooms for rent and a dump station for RVs.
