It’s the ideal place to bike. The cycling trail goes along the river and allows you to listen to the sound of the waterfalls along the ride. During the fall, it’s even more enjoyable to hear the waterfalls with the different colors. Although with several small ribs, we are easily able to go up part of it with our momentum.
This bakery’s croissants… I’m in love with them! Puffed to perfection, they are made on site with quality products. You can taste them in all kinds of flavors (raspberry, chocolate, maple or original). My sweet tooth has a soft spot for the maple one!
After a day on my bike, I like to stop on its terrace. The Saint-Maurice River right across the street and the delicious beers make for a great atmosphere. You have to try the Yes No Toaster, my favorite beer these days. With a taste of toast and caramel, it is awesome.
For the Sunday brunch, I like to change from the usual two eggs and bacon. This coffee shop offers an original breakfast menu with a nice variety of eggs Benedict. A true delight! I try a new one every time and I’m never disappointed.
When I feel like dreaming, I stroll along des Érables street and take a look at the old English houses. It takes me in another time and day.
